Wigle at Verde

We’re excited to partner with our friends from Wigle Whiskey for a South-of-the-Border themed culinary and cocktail event!

Our chef is serving up a special tasting menu of Mexican fare designed to pair with three mini Wigle cocktails concocted by the Wigle crew. We’ll also offer a special cocktail menu of past Wigle drinks at Verde, from the Veranda to the Moonglow Margarita to the Wigle’s Harvest and more.

Make reservations as you normally would, and just ask for the special menu. (Reservations are most definitely recommended!)

MENU

1st Course
CEVICHE
Freshly prepared ceviche, blood orange reduction, poblano peppers, cabbage micro greens
Or
SOPES
Masa boats with refried black beans, sweet potato hash, pineapple salsa, mixed lettuces with agave vinaigrette (v)

Paired with “Daisy Verde” – Wigle Organic Allegheny Wheat Whiskey, pineapple caramel, poblano, lime, seltzer

2nd Course
POLLO EN MOLE
Roasted chicken, smoked red and blue potatoes, chili-creamed kale, toasted peanut-cashew mole, chives
Or
ARROZ Y HONGOS
Wild mushrooms medley, smoked red and blue potatoes, ancho-tomato sauce, arroz verde, lime crema (v)

Paired with “Improved Holland Gin Cocktail” – Wigle Organic Ginever, St-Germain, maraschino, mezcal, orange bitters, grapefruit twist

3rd Course
TORTA
Pepita-almond cake, spiced cajeta, mexican vanilla custard, mint (v)

Paired with “Pennsylvania Horchata” – Wigle Oaked Landlocked, Bartender’s Horchata, nutmeg

3-course menu: $25, Cocktail pairings: $15 for all three, or $6 each
